I’m thrilled to announce that I’m starting an exciting new mystery series, The Spice Shop Mysteries, to be published by St. Martin’s Press. I love food magazines, kitchen shops, and experimenting with new recipes so this is shaping up to be a lot of fun for me. Spice and Deadly finds Piper Prescott down but not out. Recently divorced from her lawyer husband, who dumped her along with his scruples to chase ambulances and a twenty-four year old in a short skirt. Piper invests her divorce settlement in starting her own business—Spice It Up!—in a small town in Georgia. Her grand opening isn’t so grand when she discovers the local chef stabbed to death.
